Hi, I’m Julie.

Even though I’m a born-and-raised Southern Californian, the breezy minimalism and sleek midcentury lines never quite felt like me.

I’ve always been drawn to something richer - classic silhouettes, tailored details, thoughtful patterns, and just the right amount of polish. Today, that love for timeless design lives at the heart of JKB Home Design. My style blends traditional structure with vintage charm, crisp color, lived-in layers, and a laid-back California sensibility, creating homes that feel both elegant and entirely personal.

Before launching JKB, I spent years managing complex projects at large companies like The Walt Disney Company - where I learned how to lead with creativity, anticipate needs, and keep every detail moving in perfect sync. Then came my next big production: raising three very busy kids. That season of life refined my ability to juggle multiple priorities, manage chaos with calm, and still catch the smallest details - skills I now bring to every client and every project.

Because here's the truth: Creating a beautiful home takes more than a good eye. It takes vision, strategy, and a process you can trust.

JKB Home Design is a small, collaborative team dedicated to creating beautiful spaces with classic style and layers of personality.

Julie Beuerlein, Owner + Principal Designer, leads the studio’s creative vision and oversees every design decision, ensuring each home feels timeless, welcoming, and distinctly personal. Ashley Payne, Design + Project Management Coordinator, helps guide projects from concept through installation, keeping the many moving parts organized while thoughtfully bringing each design to life. Cia Conley, Administrative Assistant, supports the daily rhythm of the studio, helping ensure communication, logistics, and details remain seamless along the way.

Together, the team works behind the scenes to create homes that feel collected, comfortable, and beautifully lived in.
